The ANB Pro-ams were held in Penistone near Sheffield on Sunday 12th October. LA Muscle were the main sponsors of this show. This event consisted of an amateur line up and a Pro line up made up of some of the best natural bodybuilders this country has ever seen.
The evening was hosted by Michael Phillips who was a very professional host. This man's mind is like a computer; he could recall on the spot details of all bodybuilder's previous wins, titles, classes, placings, years! The Juniors went to Alex Gallagher who if we recall correctly placed second at the BNBF a few weeks ago. The Seniors title went to Brian Rayner, who at 57 looked unbelievable. This man was in phenomenal condition.
The Overall Miss Athletic and best presentation went to Adele Gibbon. The U-80 Class went to Paul Todd, second was Bill Young, 3rd Andrew Liddle, 4th Mckenon Thomas and 5th Tony Coppola. The Overalls and the best presentation went to Tony Montalbano.
The Pro line up was out of this world. The competitors were is seriously good shape and it was a tough call. It took the judges a mighty long time to make their final decisions. In the end 1st place went to Robert Feesey, 2nd Andrew Palmer, 3rd Ben Agboke and 4th Ian Duckett.
