Frozen Banana Yoghurt Bites

A Refreshing Snack

These delicious banana yoghurt bites are the perfect snack in the hot weather. They’re extremely light, refreshing and will satisfy your sweet tooth.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 bananas
  • 10 no sugar shortbread rounds, crushed
  • 1 scoop LA Whey Gold vanilla flavour (optional)

Yields 12 servings

DIRECTIONS

  • In a large bowl, stir together yogurt, honey, and vanilla. Chop 1 and 1/2 bananas into small pieces and fold into yogurt mixture.
  • Get a clean, empty ice cube tray and fill each slot halfway with yogurt mixture, add a thin layer of crushed shortbread, then top with more yogurt. Slice remaining bananas into rounds and place on top. Freeze until firm, 6 hours up to overnight.
  • Enjoy!

Optional – if preferred, the recipe also works well with putting the mixture into silicon muffin cases instead of an ice cube tray.
