No Bake Coconut Protein Balls

A Quick & Easy Snack Recipe

Try these delicious coconut protein balls that don't require baking and provide a protein-packed snack in no time!

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g medjool dates, pitted
  • 4 scoops (120g) LA Whey Gold protein powder, vanilla or chocolate flavour is recommended
  • 25g chocolate chips/cacao nibs
  • 150g almonds
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 100ml warm water
  • 85-100g coconut flakes, unsweetened

Yields 20+ balls

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine dates, almonds and water in a food processor and grind. Small chunks are fine
  • Add to the mixing bowl along with protein powder, chocolate chips/cacao nibs and cacao powder
  • Mix with a spatula until well combined. Mixture will seem dry in the beginning. If necessary, add more water
  • Spread coconut flakes on a flat surface, like a plate, and roll the balls in it
  • They can be eaten as is, or you can put the plate of balls into the fridge for about an hour
  • Serve and enjoy!
