Elvis Hall

ELVIS aka "KING OF POSEUR" the Bodybuilder turned Tough Guy turned Marathon Runner, turned TV personality!

Recently Elvis competed in NPA South West 2011 and gained a respectable 2nd place.

Elvis' Philosophy:

A great athlete evolves from hard work and dedication. 5% is down to luck, 5% is support from others 90% is purely self motivation and determination.

There are too many pathetic people in the world that are spectators instead of 'players' they never actually participate fully but watch from the sidelines and have an opinion that achieves nothing.

There are too many people who 'give up' and have no perseverance to focus on their goals.

If you have never felt the sweat blinding your eyes and felt the last gasp of air through your lungs you do not know the pain of hard work and endurance - you will never understand the will to win. Those people become the followers instead of the winners.

The only way to succeed and achieve your goals is to differentiate yourself from the mediocrity around you and push yourself beyond the limitations of the average person out there.

My body, my character, my ways and my philosophy make me the man I am today.

Tips to lose weight:
Keep away from the food you've been eating – this is what has made you FAT!
Do not blame anyone else - you are the one that ate all the food!
Do not get angry at me just follow the diet and training and lose the weight.
If you want to looe the weight badly enough - it's in your control!
Remember you only look as hard as you train.

Staying Motivated:
Dedicate time to your training. Visualise your goals. Plan what you want to achieve and keep your end goal in your mind everyday.

Plan your food, prepare your meals each day and take them to work with you. There is no reason to miss a meal – Stop buying take-away food, learn to cook your own food. Never eat junk food there is always an alternative!

Find a Training Partner this will help you stick to your routine and not skip training sessions. They will also act as your 'spotter' to help you to progress and lift heavier weights each week.

Keep a diary and log all your training, track your progress and monitor your results.

Do not let yourself be distracted. Never let anyone deter you from your training schedule, no matter who it is. There are no excuses if you fail only have yourself to blame!
