A delicious and nutritious Taco Recipe bursting with ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound extra-lean ground beef (mince)
  • 14g taco seasoning
  • 1/2 bell pepper in strips or diced
  • 15ml salsa
  • 220g Fresh chopped lettuce
  • 113g diced tomato
  • 110g shredded low-fat cheese of your cheese
  • 15ml low-fat sour cream
  • Large Whole-wheat tortilla wrap’s

Directions:

  1. Brown beef in frying pan
  2. Add taco seasoning
  3. Add sliced pepper and 1 tablespoon salsa
  4. Cook until peppers are soft on outside, still a little hard on inside
  5. Arrange your lettuce and tomatoes on a plate OR…
  6. Arrange your lettuce and tomatoes in a wholemeal tortilla
  7. Spoon on your taco mixture from the frying pan
  8. Now add your cheese, sour cream, and the other tablespoon of salsa
  9. Wrap it all up in a tortilla
