Maria Ward

Maria is a tenacious and dedicated athlete. She entered her first completion in 2009 for the NABBA Miss Toned Figure on October 31st 2009 and won, this show qualified her for the NABBA British Finals in May 2010 in which Maria came 2nd.

There were 23 competitors from all over Britain and the British Isles so this result for Maria was amazing as she was new to the competition scene. As she came 2nd she is automatically entered into the next British Finals to which Maria is working towards now. Her goal is to win the British Finals in May 2011, this is no mean feat and Maria is doing her up most to achieve this goal by training hard.

She attends dancing to help improve her routine. She also attends military style circuit class 3 times a week for fitness, and is pushing herself to the limit in the gym.

Maria eats super clean and allows herself just one treat meal a week. After her next show in May 2011 she wants to come away from NABBA, she feels that she cannot go any further or become Pro unless she moves up to physic and she wants to stay in Figure.

Maria's Future Goals are:

• To build her body and compete at the UKBFF
