Klaas-Jan is a young rugby player from Norfolk. His achievements are:
- Captain of Thomas Mills School for 4 consecutive years
- Norfolk at U14
- Eastern Counties U15-U18 (Cambridge, Suffolk, Norfolk) including two tours to Italy and the national tens competition at Rugby School, where he was awarded a "maximum effort" award
- Eastern Counties under 18
- London South East Division U16
- Last round of London South east Trials U18
- Awarded a prestigious sports scholarship to St. Joseph's College, where he currently studies Chemistry, Biology and PE at A level
- St Joseph's College "Forward of the year" award for both seasons at school
- Leicester Tigers EPDC
- Northampton Saints academy
- NPLQ lifeguarding qualification
- Represented St Joe's in the annual Rugby Festival (the biggest 15 festival in the country, attended by the best rugby schools from the UK)
- Representing Diss 1st Team in the EDF Energy Trophy
- Was made a prefect of St Joseph's college
- Head of the St Joseph's boarding house committee
- Voted "Best Body in the year" for the annual leaver's year book
Klaas' plans for future are to:
- Achieve well in his upcoming A levels, to enable him to attend university to study Sports Conditioning and Coaching
- Continue to push his rugby playing, and push himself physically
- Play rugby professionally
- Stay within the health and fitness industry
- Run his own supplement company and commercial gym
