Try This 5-Move HIIT Workout

Cardio Without Running To Burn Fat Quickly

If you hate any kind of running, then fear not as there are many different types of ways that you can get your cardio in. This full-body workout is going to work every major muscle group in your body and will not only help you strip fat and burn calories fast, but it will also help you add some lean muscle too.

You are going to be working for just 20 minutes and you will complete each of these exercises for 60 seconds before moving on to the next one. Once you have completed all five that’s one round and you will be going for four rounds.

1. PRESS UPS

Begin by assuming a plank position, with your feet together, your body straight and your palms on the ground below your shoulders. Lower your body until your chest is a couple of inches from the floor, then explosively press with your arms, returning to the top of the movement.

2. JUMPING LUNGES

Now, step one foot back and sink into a deep lunge, with your left knee almost touching the floor Explode upward, switching legs in mid-air to land in a lunging position with your left leg forward. Repeat the jumping motion, this time finishing with your right leg in front.

3. BURPEES

Start in a standing position and then squat down. Kick your feet back to get into push-up position and complete a push-up. Then, bring your feet back to where they were and jump into your original standing position.

4. SQUAT JUMPS

Stand straight with your feet at shoulder width. Lift your hands and drop into a squat position. From here, jump upward explosively. Try to get as much height as possible. Make sure that you hit the ground with soft knees to avoid injury.

5. MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS

From a press up position, draw your left knee towards your right elbow, engaging your core. Perform the movement under control. Return to the plank position, before immediately repeating the move on the other side with your right leg.
