Strawberry & Raspberry Protein Cheesecake

Everyone loves cheesecake but not the empty calories that come with it! I still want to be able to enjoy my favourite treats even when on competition prep, here's my healthy clean version made with LA Muscle Diet Whey for a nice clean treat.

I've been using LA Muscle Strawberry and Raspberry Diet Whey for months now and I love it! It's packed full of lean protein, contains real fruit pieces, active weight loss ingredients and it's delicious!

The Recipe

Base -

•175g Oats
•50g Agave nectar or honey
•50g Coconut oil
•50g LA Muscle Peanut Butter

Topping-
•3 scoops of LA Muscle Diet Whey Raspberry and Strawberry flavour
•400g Authentic 0% fat Greek yoghurt
•300g Fat free cottage cheese
•1 pack sugar free raspberry jelly

Base - Blend oats
•Mix agave nectar, coconut oil and peanut butter and place in microwave until for 10seconds or until melted.
•Pour melted mixture into blended oats coating evenly.
Press the mixture into chosen dish (I used a 10inch one with the removable sides) and put fridge for couple of hours to stick and harden.

Top-
•Blend cottage cheese and Greek yoghurt until smooth.
•Make jelly only using 1/2 the of liquid suggested, so 1/4 pint of boiling water to melt crystals then add 1/4 cold water.
•Mix LA Muscle Diet Whey into the Greek yoghurt and cottage cheese
•Add jelly liquid mixture and mix well.
•sprinkle shredded coconut on top

•Pour onto the base and place in fridge to set.

Cut into 8 pieces, each slice contains -

Calories - 235
Protein - 20g
Carbohydrates - 23g
Fats - 7g

Alternatively if you would rather a chocolate cheesecake, follow same instructions swapping LA Muscle Diet Whey strawberry and raspberry for LA Muscle Diet Whey chocolate.


You could also add some dark chocolate pieces or spread LA Muscle Peanut Butter on base before pouring chocolate mixture on for extra yumminess!
