Chocolate Protein Waffles
A Delicious Low Calorie Treat

You don’t have to wait until the weekend to indulge in a
cheat meal. Try this guilt-free waffle recipe that’s less than 200 calories per
waffle and very delicious! Try these for breakfast or as a snack and top with
fruit, nuts or whatever you desire.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 scoop LA Whey Gold chocolate
flavour (or preferred flavour)
- 1 tsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 2-3 tbsp water
- 1 tsp coconut oil
Yields 1 serving
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Combine protein
powder, coconut flour, baking powder and egg.
- Use hand mixer or whisk
to blend until ingredients are combined.
- Add water, one
tablespoon at a time until the mixture becomes the consistency of a thick
pancake batter.
- Grease waffle iron
with oil to prepare for batter.
- Spoon batter onto hot
iron.
- Cook waffles until
crisp, which should be up to 5-6 mins depending on your waffle iron. See waffle

- Serve immediately
with a teaspoon of butter or your choice of low sugar/sugar-free syrup and your
selection of toppings such as fruit, nuts or honey.
