On the 9th of April 2006 Costas managed to come first in Free Diving, Dinamic Apnea (with fins), Dinamic Apnea (bare foot) and Static Apnea in Cyprus Championships. He also managed to break his own record at Dynamic Apnea which was 125m and at the day of competition he made 149m.
In the future Costas plans to enter a competition that will be held in Greece in September 2006 for the Triathlon and hope to win and become the "Greek Champion" as well as hold his title as "Cypriot Champion". After that he would like to move to the European Championships, however his biggest personal goal is to take the World Title in Dynamic Apnea and Free Diving.
