Steven Beckerleg
National Freestyle Champion
Steven Beckerleg represents a focused and talented young sportsperson. He is a member of Team GB and Plymouth Leander swimming club.
His achievements show his drive and commitment to his sport. At the age of 15 (2005), he was the youngest male swimmer to be handed a senior cap for a British team. Steven competed at commonwealth games in India 2010 in the 4x200m mens freestyle relay where he was placed second. He has held National champion for four consecutive years in the 200, 400, 800 and 1500m freestyle, whilst breaking numerous British records.
His Future Goals are:
- To gain European Champion
- To achieve Commonwealth Champion
His Long term goal is to become an Olympic Medallist
