Scott Stitt
Junior British Stillwater Champion & Surf Life Saver
Scott competes with "Sauton Sands Life Saving Club" and for the past 6 years his club have won the "British Super Club" title. He had been competing with the club for over 10 years.
Scott's achievements are:
- British Junior Championships 2008 in Portreath- two individual British titles in the Surf Swim and Iron Man events together with three British titles
- Selected for the Great British U19's Team to attend the Junior European Championships in Rome, Italy 2006- vice captain of the team and the youngest member
- Top ten position at the Surf Swim
- Won the gold medal in the Board rescue with his partner
- Selected for the Great Britain Team to compete in the "Junior European Championships" 2008- Eidhoven, Holland- team's highest point scorer
- Junior British Stillwater Championships 2009- Seven more British titles and narrowly missed out by 0.2 of a second in making it eight
- Selected to be a part of the England Lifesaving Team for the Commonwealth Lifesaving Championship in Canada- 2009
- Asked to compete in the British Iron Man series 2009- His aim in the series is to obtain a top eight position in the open age category
In the future Scott wants to compete in the 2010 World Surf Lifesaving Championships (Newquay, England)
