Jonathan Simonson

Currently Jonathan is currently persuing powerlifting and is training to compete in the next Welsh Powerlifting Championship.

Jonathan has previously represented Wales at both Under 20 and Under 23 level as a sprinter. His achievements include:

• Under 15 100m and 200m Welsh Junior league record holder
• Silver medal in the British Schools 4x 100m Championships
• Under 18 Welsh indoor and outdoor pentathlon Championships 2006
• 4th in the British Under 18's pentathon Championships 2005
• Welsh under 20, 60m and 200m Champion 2007
• Welsh Championship best performance record holder in the 60m 2007
• Welsh Schools 100m Champion 2007
• 3 Celtic Games Welsh vests (5 medals gained in the Celtics games)
• Celtic Games Welsh Record holder 4 x 400m
• 2 welsh vests in the indoor Celtic cup (senior / under 20)
• Represented Wales at the Under 20 / 23 level during 2007
• Won the under 20's indoor Welsh 400m title
• Represented Wales in the 400m Celtic Cup
