James Goracy

After many years of being severely over weight in 2007 James decided enough was enough and it was time to do something about it. After 14 months, and trying everything and learning so much, he had finally lost the weight and looked and felt the best he had ever done. Having reached his goals he felt he could easily slip back to being over weight again.

He heard about a local UKBFF bodybuilding contest and the new classic class.
After researching into what it would take to do it, how to diet train etc and entered in August 2008; he won his height class and was deemed good enough to earn an invite to the British finals in 2009.

Since then James has won the Channel Islands Championships, earning a second invite to the British Finals in 2009. He placed second at the NAC British Open in November 2009, which earned him an invitation to NAC Universe held in Hamburg in December 2009.

James says: “Going to the Universe was a great experience for me and has set my standards higher for what I want to achieve. This year I am looking to again qualify for the UKBFF British finals and place, also to qualify for NAC Universe and place there…”
