Irina Cotton

Irina was born in the Ukraine and represented the Soviet Union in many National and International competitions mainly with the Olympic program. At the age of 16, the Physical Culture and Sport Committee awarded her the “Master of Sport of the USSR” title in Sport Gymnastics. As a youth gymnast she trained at Koncha Zaspa at Russia’s Round Lake training centre under Olympic Team Coaches and has continued gymnastics up until the present day.
She also competed at the national level in Aerobic Competitions and gained some national titles.
Irina only decided to take up bodybuilding 3 years ago and the array of her achievements is very impressive:

• Miss East Anglia Figure – May 2006- 2nd place
• “Body Beautiful Spectacular” Miss Shape over 30- August 2006- 2nd place
• “Super Body” Fitness Category- September 2006 1st place
• Musclemania- September 2006 Fitness Category – 1st place
• UKBFF North East Championship September 2006- Fitness category – 1st place.
• UKBFF Fitness British Champion 2006
• Junior and Masters World Bodybuilding Fitness and Body Fitness Championship- Italy IFBB 2006
• European Woman’s Bodybuilding Fitness and Man’s Fitness Championship- Serbia- May 2007
• Back to British Final- Oct 2008
• Fitness British Champion 2008

Irina is passionate about her sport and remains incredibly optimistic and self-motivated. In the future she wants to focus on more competitions, as well as helping others achieve their fitness goals.
