Graham Dowers
British Masters Powerlifitng Champion
Graham is a powerlifter from Oxfordshire, he holds the British Bench Press record. He also competes internationally in International Powerlifitng Federation and the European Powerlifting Federation.

- 2nd Place in World Bench Press competition held in Zlin, Czech Republic
- World Powerlifitng Championship held in SOuth Africa- 2nd Overall, individual lifts, Gold in the squat and dead lift, Bronze in the Bench Press
- Broke the Britsh Bench Press Record (which stood since 1978)
2006
- British Senior Powerlifitng Champion
- British Masters Powerlifitng Champion
- European Bench Press- Czech Republic- Silver Medal
- European Powerlifitng Championships- Silver Medal
- British Bench Press record
2007
- Won the British Seniors for the second year running with a total of 500 in June
- European Powerlifitng Championships- Gold Medal in Bench press, Silver in the Squat and Silver in the deadlift, which gave him the overall Silver placing in the competition, his total was 502kg
- World Powerlifitng Championships: 190kg squat- Bronze medal, 122.5kg bench press- Bronze medal, 190kg deadlift- silver medal which gave the whole Team overall Silver
- South Midlands Championships- set a new British Bench Record of 130kg, new regional records of the deadlift and total, which was 515kg. Presented the best lifter award on the day. Graham amanged to deadlift 200kg for the first time in the competition.
2008
- BWLA- British Bench Press Championships- 1st place with a bench of 130kg
- BWLA- British Bench Press Championships- Set new Commonwealth Record
- British Masters- Competed in the 60kg class, won the event, managed a new personal best total of 530kg
2010
- England vs Wales- March 2010- Came 1st in the 67.5kg class and also set a new masters record at 135kg (10kg heavier than the previous one).
- British Nationals in Bath University -April 2010- competed in the 67.5kg class and came 1st and also managed to set a new world record of a 150kg bench.
Graham also achieved a Black Sash in Lau Gar Kung Fu and dedicated 17 years of his life to his sport, not only improving his own physique but also instructing others. His future goals are to become the European Bench Press Champion and powerlifting champion. His ultimate goal is to become the World Bench Press champion and World powerlifitng champion. He would also like to become Personal Trainer.
