- He was once named the Irish Wayne Rooney by Sports Worldwide (2005).
- Starred in football reality show ‘Making It’ for Belfast Citybeats Radio station show.
- Signed a two year professional contract with league 1 side AFC Bournemouth (2004)
- Capped at international level for Northern Ireland at Under 16, 17,18,19,20 and 21
Curtis intends to continue to progress in his career and aspire to the highest level possible. He would also like to progress to the full Northern Ireland International side.

Curtis has made some amazing progress. Some of his most recent achievements are:
- 2009- joined Linfield FC on a 2 year full time professional contract
- 2009- won the carling Irish premier league with Linfield
- 2009- won the Irish cup with Linfield FC
- 2010- scored 8 goals and i am top assist league leader with 8 assists after 15 games
- 2010- Linfield sitting top of the Irish premier league by 8 points
- 2010- played in the under 23 international match between northern Ireland and Portugal
