The truth behind other supplements claiming to be like LA Muscle

Last month I was looking on a web site of another supplements company that sells a small range of cheaper alternatives to LA Muscle products. This web site had compared its products to LA Muscle supplements and was giving many reasons why their supplements are just as good if not better than LA Muscle.

Last week I was up North of England and decided to visit the said company who have opened a new shop at their "high tech manufacturing facilities". Their manufacturing facility was a small dusty unit in an old industrial park. I managed to get a peak inside. There was a guy there seemingly overseeing something being manufactured. He was wearing no overalls, no head or beard cover (he had a beard) and no gloves. The door to the place was open (allowing dust) and there were open tablets in buckets, ready to be manually put into tubs (heaven knows what else was eventually going into the tubs).

I have no objections to other companies selling supplements and saying they are great or better than the rest…. HOWEVER, when one of these companies starts comparing their formulations and their manufacturing methods to LA Muscle, well we have to take objection.

LA Muscle's manufacturing plant in the USA and in Europe are state of the art high tech labs manufacturing to the highest possible grade - meaning the same grade that Prescription Drugs are manufactured to.

Most companies that make tablets have to mix their raw materials with lots of other ingredients and liquids, before making it into a tablet and letting this "wet" tablet dry. This method of making a tablet means you get more additives and less purity and potency is lost during manufacturing.

• Do they manufacture to GMP methods and store products in specific conditions to stop them from denaturing?
• Do they use exclusive methods such as making a "dry" tablet?
• Can they give you a certificate that their whey protein is free of all BSE and other animal diseases?
• Do they store and ship products to exact standards, meaning no loss of product integrity? For example, we never ship anything by sea as this method ruins products and reduces their strength.
• Have they been in business for long? LA Muscle was established in 1997.
