LA Muscle sponsored athlete Andy Ashton has won Mr Fitness Model Atlantic 2006. The competition was held in Connecticut, New York on the 06th May 2006.
After competing and winning against over 20 other competitors, Andy was one step closer to his dreams of becoming the next biggest fitness model and actor.
It was the greatest feeling in the world to him. He said, "I feel so good winning again, I feel like I can't do anything wrong. I feel like number one. My goal is to always be a winner."
Andy decided to take up bodybuilding at the tender age of 17. In that time he has been featured in magazines and newspapers all over the world due to his astonishing physic. At only 22 years old, Andy has been competing for 4 years. His achievements are Junior Bodybuilding Champion of Spain 2002, winner of Model America 2005 in Hollywood, California. His next competition is in Miami on June 24th to 26th for Model Universe.

To achieve his goal Andy trains 5 times per week. Monday is chest & calves, Tuesday back & biceps. Wednesday is Legs, Friday shoulders and triceps, Sunday he repeats the cycle, Thursday and Saturday are days off.
"I think the hardest part to my training routine is preparation and organisation. When you have a goal to achieve, nothing can get in the way. You must focus, believe in yourself and stay consistent so that you can accomplish anything."
My diet consists of 20-25% of essential fat, 40-45% of complex carbohydrates, and 30% of protein. I usually eat very healthy food like egg whites, chicken, turkey breast, fish, brown rice, oats, vegetables, fruit, nuts and LA Whey protein. I stay away from white starches.
The advice Andy Ashton would give to anyone wanting to take up bodybuilding is to "train safe, train hard, stay consistent, be 110% focused. Consume 5 to 6 meals daily, eat quality protein like chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, LA Whey, complex carbohydrates, take three to four portions of fruit and vegetable daily, and drink two litres of water daily. Take LA Muscle Products and multivitamins and minerals daily. Learn from professionals, never listen to amateurs, don't train with weights you cannot control, don't eat junk food, stay away from trans and saturated fats and find an activity that you enjoy doing. Always believe in your self and your dreams can become a reality, stay away from negativity, if you want to take it to the next level.
Andy currently takes LA Whey, Norateen Heavyweight II, Natrex, Nobese, Multi_Protector on a daily basic. These supplements give him more muscle mass, strength, and definition which help him to become the champion that he is today.
