Peri Peri Chicken

Peri Peri Chicken, Low in carbs and high in protein.

Ingredients:

  • 8 chicken Breast’s
  • 30ml olive oil
  • juice from 3 lemons
  • 3-6 birds eye chillies, finely chopped (adjust the chillies depending on your liking)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 10g paprika
  • 15g flour
  • 15g tomato paste
  • Salt

Directions:

1. In a blender add all of the ingredients except the chicken, blend until they form a smooth paste.

2. Place in a glass container and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 days, this allows the flavours to develop.

3. Once the marinade is ready rub chicken pieces with it and leave in the refrigerator for 24 hrs.

4. Prepare a charcoal barbecue and cook the chicken regularly basting it with the remaining marinade.

For added carbohydrates serve with Brown Rice.
