Junior World Powerlifting Champion in 75kg cat.

Kevin is a Police Officer from Aylesbury. He currently competes in the BPC / GPC federation. He's been weight lifting since the age of 16 winning numerous regional and national competitions in BAWLA. In February 2005 he decided to turn to Power Lifting.

His achievements for 2005 include:

April- 75kg Junior Class at the South East Qualifier (BPC)- 2nd
June- 75kg Junior Class at the British Championships (BPC)- 2nd
October- 75kg Junior World Powerlifting Championships (GPC)- 1st place

In 2006 Kevin's accomplished the following:

South East Qualifier (BPC) 75kg Junior Class- 1st place, also came second in the Senior Class
Set a new British Junior Squat (275kg) and total record (640kg)
June- 75kg Junior Class, British Powerlifitng Championships (BPC) 1st, 2nd in the Senior Class.
He reset his British Junior squat (300kg) and total record (665kg)
Came 3rd in Overall in the BPC Event

Kevin intends to go to the 2006 World Champioships and retain his title and attempt to break the World Squat Record (340lg). Next year he will make the decision whether to stay in the 75kg class and challenge for the senior title or move up to challenge 82kg class.
