Phil Beniston wins the World Powerlifting Championships

Phil Beniston won the WPF- World Powerlifting Championships in Torreon, Mexico with a World Record Squat of 290kg, 200kg Bench and 252.5kg Deadlift for 742.5kg total at 93kg body weight. He won the World Bench with 202.5kg at 90.35kg body weight and the whole GB Team won the event (Mexico 2nd, USA 3rd).
After that Phil travelled to USA where he was invited to lift in AAU World Bench (RAW) in Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas- lifted 170kg to win.
