High Blood Pressure and steroids

hi,

I have high blood pressure due to taking steroids, I know I've been silly but just wanted to get bigger quicker,ive come off the steroids and have decided that i wont risk harming my body again.
my doc said he wont treat me for it as its not high enough for treatment but he wants to monitor it over the next few weeks
my bp was 160/98 but ive since dropped it to 141/90
ive been using thawthorn (crataegus oxyacantha) and taking 150mg of aspirin at night before bed,is it safe taking these together?
my doctor avised me to take nothing but i was told to try these and there working
just wanted your advice on this matter

Knowing nothing else about your medical history, I am not in a position to give you any specific clinical advice. However, I would certainly suggest that you follow your doctor's advice, and monitor your blood pressure. You can never diagnose high blood pressure with just one reading... so its worthwhile checking it on several occasions - most pharmacies can also check it for you.

Only then should you consider starting any treatments.
