I am taking Acne medication. I want a tatoo
At the moment I am on ro-accutane (isotretinoin) to cure my acne. I would like to get my next tattoo soon. How long should I wait until I get my tattoo?

This is an excellent question, and one that should certainly be discussed with your dermatologist. The main concern while on roaccutane (isotretinoin), is with the increased risk in poor healing and scarring after having a tattoo. It is therefore recommended that you wait at least one year AFTER completing your isotretinoin therapy before considering tattoos.
