I often get this question and my immediate response is: "depends who's asking!" You see sometimes you get lazy-ass people who watch TV all day, do no exercise and eat like the earth's food supply was going to run out. To them, I say no. Nothing will work. Why? Because they are lazy and lazy people will never get anywhere.
On the other hand if you have mentally prepared yourself for fat loss then you have as good a chance as anyone to lose fat. This can be achieved by exercising, changing your diet, medical pills or supplements.
The ideal way would be to start exercising, seeing to your diet and supplementing too.
Now, you have asked about fat/diet pills. I am not sure which you mean, medical or supplements. The medical pills work but again if you are lazy, they are not a long term solution. You will likely keep going back for more and putting more money in the pockets of the pharmaceutical giants.
The supplements work to a great extent too. But just remember that the most important tool in your battle against fat loss is your mind. If you have your mind set correct, then you will achieve anything. Take it one day at a time but do take it! Start off with a little exercise and make sure you do something every day.
Remember that "winning starts with beginning". So begin and you will see that fat loss is not such a big deal. Once you have started and you have reduced fatty foods and reduced carbs later in the day, you can start with a fat loss supplement. Don't forget that cardio exercises get rid of the fat you have already accumulated, so start fast walking, rowing or cycling.
