Intro
Before I lost weight I had bad eating and living habits but once I changed them it opened the door to complete success. You too can have the body & life you always wanted, the secret to your health is in your daily habits so start to change your bad habits and see the new & better you !
Cut out caffeine
One of the worst habits we have is to drink coffee & tea first thing in the morning and all day long but caffeine is one of the most undercover ingredient that has a lot of bad side affects that people don't know about, coffee & tea is not the only place where caffeine hides, nearly everything you eat and drink has caffeine in it. From medication and pain killers like(Solpadine),chocolate, soda's and diet drinks to tea, coffee and even chocolate.
Every time you drink coffee, coke or red bull it puts stress your nervous system leaving your heart pounding and beating irregular and in some serve cases it will lead to a heart attack(that's why red bull is banned in a lot of countries). Caffeine also dehydrates your body and robs the water from your body and mind leaving you with a headache because the body is trying to still pump blood to the brain. People also use caffeine to get an instant boost of energy (and it does work) but at high cost, in the
long run it will leave you feeling more tired, irritable and then to over eating because of the mood swings.
If you're already an anxious, sensitive person ,stay away from caffeine because it will lead to depression, panic attacks, and even nervous breakdowns, sounds serious but now there is a great concern in the heath industry about caffeine and it's hidden side affects. Not only that but it also speeds up the ageing process quick time, so try to stay away from this bad boy and replace tea & coffee with decaf and diet sodas/sodas with natural fresh juices and try out the many different delicious herbal teas like apple & cinnamon, mango or mint and if you need a boost of energy before your workouts try ISOLECTRO drink from LA Muscle which is only 70 kcal and no fat. Water,water,water
We all know we need to drink more water but why water and not orange juice or coffee or milkshakes all day? It's simple, our body is made up of 3/4 water and it needs water to keep our organs and brain functioning properly. We lose a lot of water though sweating and other natural causes(going toilet) and must be re-filled with it, that's why people get headaches(from dehydration) and a lot of sickness come from lack of water and drinking too much junk drinks that clogs up our system.
If you are sick and go to the doctors the first thing they will ask you is if you are drinking enough water. Water has 9 other vital vit & minerals we need including calcium which means stronger bones and good teeth too. It also flushes out all toxins and chemicals that are in your system left from everyday eating & living. Water detoxifies your whole body, leaving you with clear skin, alert thinking and a flat stomach because you won't be over drinking and you will have a less of a bloated look.
People drink most of the time NOT because they are thirsty but because they want to satisfy their taste buds. They want to taste that first cup of coffee in the morning or sugar in a can of coke or the strawberry flavour in a milkshake. How's a milkshake going to help you when your thirsty? You can't even drink it!
All living animals and plants drink only water, you'll never see of someone giving coffee to a lion to drink or someone watering a tree with red bull to make it grow and even if you did it will die & you would be arrested for cruelty. Yet we are cruel to our bodies and we suffer for it. Mother nature intended for us to drink only water and not man made drinks, another example is you will never hear of an animal complaining of a headache or go to the doctors with cancer but the drinks we drink(coke, coffee, red bull etc.) will lead to those sickness.
Having drinks like protein shakes, Creatine drinks and the odd glass of wine are great but try to keep water the main fluid you take (about 4 pints a day).You can add flavour to your water like oranges
Try to reduce fizzy drinks and replace tea & coffee with decaf & see the new and healthy you and you'll live longer too ( which is always a good thing)
Take your daily supplements
If you want energy, clear thinking & to be in a good mood all day you must have all the minerals & vitamins your body needs. Foods like breakfast cereals advertise that they are packed with them but your body needs a total of 50 nutrients, which you can't get from all food and some minerals can only be found in the earth's' soil and your not going to eat that for breakfast.
The 50 nutrients we need everyday are broken down into 4 groups: amino acids, fats, vitamins and minerals. You can find a lot of these nutrients in natural foods but even if you can squeeze 2 tins of spinach,6 bananas, a leg of lamb and 12 boiled eggs in your lunch box for work you still will not get the full and complete RDA needed(recommended dilly amount).
Vit D from the sun is essential for strong bones and good skin but you can't fit the sun in your lunch box !
Another essential food we need is garlic to fight off colds and flues but your not going to eat a whole one on your way to work, it's a lot easier to supplement it and no bad breath either. Chromium helps to burn fat but you need to eat lot of liver and oysters to get a result, LA Muscle Fat Stripper has chromium in it works great.
